STYLING STUDIO
Udaipur transformed into a shimmering dream with the Ice Palace-themed cocktail soirée at Manek Chowk — an evening that was nothing short of extraordinary.
Every element from the ethereal décor and captivating entertainment to the intricately styled food presentation came together to create a surreal atmosphere that left guests truly spellbound.
The creative challenge?
To present hot, spicy, and vibrantly colourful food within a setting that evoked wintry stillness and frigid charm. My team and I drew inspiration from the fairytales we all grew up with — castles, chariots, elegant candelabras, and frosted winter trees — each reimagined with a sub-zero aesthetic. The food became more than a feast. It was an immersive experience, a bold sensory and visual contrast that perfectly complemented the icy elegance of the theme.Creative powerhouses behind the scenes

“Styling is the silent storyteller — it’s how a space speaks before a single word is said.”
A love story set in the enchanted woods of the sixteenth century — a culinary rendition of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, where romance and revelry came alive on the plate.
Whimsical creatures and fairies wandered through lush, floral forests, creating the perfect backdrop for an evening of enchantment.
Inspired by the ornate intricacy of the Elizabethan era and contrasted with the wild, untamed beauty of the forest, the setting felt like a living fairytale — rich in drama, fantasy, and layered storytelling.
The dinner table had to be as expressive and theatrical as the tale itself. Guests were captivated by imaginative canapés and immersive presentations — each dish a playful, poetic interpretation of Shakespearean magic.

Midsummer Night Dreams
“Details aren’t just details — they’re the soul of the setting.”
Step into an evening where geometry met gastronomy — a striking collision of form, flavour, and minimalism.
This evening was the brainchild of visionary Venetian wedding designer Matteo Corvino, whose concept pushed us to move beyond conventional aesthetics and into a world defined by symmetry, contrast, and precision.
Translating his sharp-edged patterns into the language of Indian food was no easy feat. My team and I immersed ourselves in his mood boards, drawing inspiration from their structure and balance. Every element, from the table layouts to the canapés became a miniature reflection of his visual vocabulary.
The result?
Even we couldn’t have imagined something so unexpectedly chic and cool. In a setting where everything stood out, the only way to truly shine was to completely blend in. The décor and the food display dissolved into one seamless, monochromatic symphony — so unified that you couldn’t tell where the setting ended and the experience began.Credits:

BLACK & WHITE
“Styling transforms an event from something seen to something felt.”
Set against the serene backdrop of Grand Hyatt Kalina’s cascading fountains, our Enchanted Garden dessert bar transported guests into a whimsical world where nature and sweetness intertwined. The design featured lush foliage-draped swings, each gracefully adorned with an array of delectable treats that were as visually stunning as they were delicious.
To ensure safety and minimize human contact during the COVID era, we incorporated life-like mannequins artfully positioned among the swings, allowing guests to easily access the desserts while maintaining social distancing. This clever blend of creativity and caution was met with enthusiastic approval, turning the dessert bar into both a feast for the eyes and a thoughtful, hygienic experience.
Guests were drawn to the playful and immersive setting, eagerly snapping photos of every detail — from the intricate greenery to the artfully arranged sweets. The Enchanted Garden quickly became the highlight of the evening, offering a moment of joy, sweetness, and magic that perfectly complemented the event’s elegant atmosphere.
Simple in concept yet rich in imagination, the dessert bar embodied the essence of enchantment — inviting guests to indulge their senses in a truly memorable way.

Butterflies, Bollywood & Barbecue: A Sangeet Like No Other
Pune lit up with sparkle and stardust at the Sangeet of Sakshi Dhariwal, heiress to the illustrious Manikchand family. A show-stopping, glamorous Butterfly Garden came to life, masterfully designed by Wizcraft India — a theme where color, fantasy, and elegance collided in the most magical way. With Karan Johar as host and Aditi Rao Hydari co-anchoring a dazzling lineup of Bollywood stars, the evening overflowed with energy and enchantment. Think flamingos, shimmering canopies, and a dreamy water body that framed the celebration like a scene from a surreal fairytale. Brought on board just two weeks before the event, our team took on the complete buffet and canapé experience — and delivered beyond expectations. From exquisitely styled, theme-aligned trays to immersive gastronomical experiences like a hydroponic salad bar and forest cuisine cooked live in bamboo pots, every bite was an extension of the event’s whimsical storytelling. But the real showstopper? Our custom-designed moving fireplace tray, a nod to winter, serving live barbecue straight from glowing embers — a warm, theatrical centerpiece that wowed guests and brought the chill and charm of the season to life. A bold blend of beauty, innovation, and last-minute brilliance, this was a Sangeet where every detail — from stage to salad — truly took flight.Credits

VIBRANT INDIA
New Delhi burst into life in a kaleidoscope of colour for our “Vibrant India” wedding — a celebration where every installation, drape, and tabletop vignette revealed a new facet of India’s ever-evolving identity. The jewel-toned glow of ruby-red silks and the muted vigour of Rajasthani pichwais stood alongside the luminous metallic threads of Banarasi brocades and sleek acrylic structures, each element paying homage to centuries-old craftsmanship while embracing modernity.
Sumant Jayakrishnan’s opulent décor masterfully blended traditional Indian motifs — paisleys, intricate jaali latticework, and stylised Kalamkari florals — with bold geometric patterns, metallic installations, and contemporary acrylic accents. The result was a dialogue between heritage and innovation, ritual and rebellion — a vivid expression of an India that reveres its roots while confidently embracing the future.
Translating this vision into a cohesive dining experience was both inspiring and challenging. With so many textures, colours, and visual cues in play, my team and I had to decode Sumant’s interpretation of modern India with great sensitivity. The breakthrough came when we decided to use fabric — brocades, velvets, and traditional prints — to wrap our pass-around trays, allowing the food presentation to echo and complement the richness of the décor. Luxe textiles framed the dining area, and ornate silverware and crystal accents added depth and continuity, turning each service moment into a visual extension of the space itself.

“When food is presented with beauty, it becomes an experience, not just a meal.”
An unconventional love story came to life at the super eclectic Ham Yard Hotel in London — a vibrant engagement celebration for a British-born Indian billionaire and her soon-to-be husband. This wasn’t your typical tale of roses and chandeliers. No flowers. No frills. Just pure personality.
This was a celebration of owning who you are. Here’s a glimpse into the couple’s world, straight from the bride:
- The proposal? At the boxing ring.
- The celebration? At Nando’s.
- Favourite drinks? Coke and beer.
- Favourite food? Burgers and popcorn.
- Favourite weekend ritual? Watching movies with a spread of pizza and French fries.
- Favourite story? The Frog Prince.

THE BOOK OF LOVE
“The difference between good food and unforgettable food is often how it’s presented.”
Delicate. Dreamy. Distinctly English.
In the heart of Delhi, Sumanth J. Krishnan wove a nostalgic dream — a Vintage English Tea Party brought to life with exquisite detail. Imagine fine china, lace doilies, and petite cake stands overflowing with mini desserts, sugared fruits, and dainty sandwiches. Tables were adorned with soft florals, gilded cutlery, and elegant cake stands , capturing the grace of an English countryside afternoon. From teacups to tiny touches, every element was a love letter to timeless charm — a celebration of all things sweet, simple, and beautifully styled. A tea party that felt like stepping into a storybook — where time slowed, cups clinked, and guests were transported into a bygone era of elegance, sweetness, and charm.Credits
